Resources

The Syntropic Foundation provides an array of resources to help and encourage people uprooting digital weeds.

Recovery

We provide recovery strategies and resources from ourselves and others to help all people who are struggling with digital media misuse.  From venial habits to serious addictions, from individual recovery to family and group based plans, from youth to adult, we believe everyone can claim victory in their battles.

  • Approach

Our Approach page details the "uprooting by planting" personal development strategy which we identified to be most effective in overcoming digital media misuse.  This page serves as a general guide and can be used as an accompanying resource alongside recovery plans.

  • Traveler Tip List

The Traveler Tip List contains helpful practical exercises and tactics which Travelers have testified to have helped in their own journeys towards recovery.

  • Day's Gleaning

The Day's Gleaning application is developed by Syntropic Foundation to help lead individuals through an end-of-day reflection.  Just like how one goes over what they got right and wrong on an exam in order to improve in the future, we find the same reflection to be helpful in identifying personal room for growth and making progress in overcoming digital media misuse.  Day's Gleaning prompts the individual with reflections and questions to recall their day's progress and plan their next day.  All our applications are free, anonymous, and do not require a login of any form.

  • LifeVine

The LifeVine application is developed by Syntropic Foundation as an "emergency button" when faced with sudden temptation.  Especially for recovering addicts, it can be hard to initially resist the urge to go back to indulgence.  The LifeVine application walks an individual through a "calm-down" reflection, identifying the source of the urge and canceling it out, and then helps them to reaffirm their resolve to continue pushing forward and go to further help if needed.  All our applications are free, anonymous, and do not require a login of any form.

To reach more people in our community, we hope to host events for people to gather and grow together.  From giving talks at local schools to hosting meetings for community discussion, we're hoping to unite our society in the movement towards a society free from digital media misuse.
